How fellow pet life works

Fellow pets have two things going on. Current life drains in real time within the pet's lifespan cap — shown two ways on the pet screen, as a Health percentage and as readable time (e.g. Life 6d 17h 1m). Refilling that life uses Protein Bites (restore 10% of the cap, ~4,000–6,000 CP) or Protein Snacks (refill straight to full, ~25,000–35,000 CP). The lifespan cap itself is set at hatch somewhere between 1 and 7 days, and Pet Life Extender raises that cap by 12 hours per use (~10,000–15,000 CP) up to the 7-day hard maximum.
